Beyond Pets (Everything to do with service and emotional support animals)

This course provides Georgia real estate licensees with a practical understanding of disability-related protections in housing, including reasonable accommodations, accessibility concerns, Fair Housing compliance, assistance animals, and the legal distinctions between the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Licensees will explore common risk areas involving disability accommodations, communication practices, brokerage liability, property management concerns, and consumer protection obligations in residential real estate practice. The course emphasizes lawful decision-making, ethical conduct, inclusive communication, and reducing Fair Housing violations in Georgia real estate transactions and housing-related activities.
