Beyond Dating: An IRL Embodied Encounter Lab for Singles
About this Event
Beyond Dating: An Embodied Encounter Lab invites you to explore how touch, movement, and shared physical awareness can open new pathways to connection — both romantic and platonic. Guided by somatic educator Gabrielle Revlock, participants will move through simple and fun exercises drawn from Contact Improvisation, designed to cultivate consent, presence, and curiosity. You’ll practice tuning into resonance and observing that subtle “yes” or “no” you feel in the body through playful activities that engage your three-dimensional self. There is no expectation to feel a certain way and the option to observe or partner with the friend you came with is always welcome.
Whether you’re single, partnered, or somewhere in between, this is a space to connect authentically — through movement, attention, words, play, and touch. Singles strongly encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.
