The goal of the conference is to provide current research discoveries, technical presentations, mentorship opportunities, workforce access, and best practices for the broader physics and astronomy community. The conference allows students to have close interactions with professional physicists and gain exposure to high-quality scientific research and presentations. In addition to being the technical meeting that promotes persistence and belonging among physics students and early career professionals, the conference focuses on high-level research talks, academic and industry workforce pipeline efforts, peer-to-peer interactions, and full-scale exposure to the scientific community. The 2025 NSBP/NSHP Joint Conference will consist of four days of technical seminars, educational sessions, employment exhibitions, interactive networking opportunities, new and existing scholarship and post-doctoral programs, and hybrid/virtual career fairs and poster sessions. The conference theme is directed towards the expansion of workforce and research opportunities for the next generation of physicists and astronomers.
