Here’s the rundown of Beyblade X at Battle Arena Melbourne 2024!
Kicking off at 11AM on Saturday is the main Beyblade X tournament, if you’re a seasoned competitor or a Blader wanting to test out your skills, you cannot miss out on this opportunity. It will utilise the standard ‘Beyblade Tournaments Australia’ rule-set, which, if you’ve attended our tournaments in Melbourne, you’ll be familiar with, otherwise check below to a link to the rules.

To enter the Saturday tournament, players will be required to purchase the Spectator Pass ($25), and then $15 to enter the Beyblade X tournament. All proceeds from the entry fee are added to the prize pot, the more players that enter, the higher the prize pot! Our sponsors for this event are as follows: Hasbro, Jawas Junkyard, Noozle3D and our very own community members: Paxton, Kyzabro and Zero!

Bladers can only use official Takara Tomy or Hasbro Beyblade X products. We utilise a 3 on 3 Match Type, where Bladers construct a deck of 3 unique Beyblades with zero repeating parts. The competitors order their Beyblades, and the battle commences until a winner is decided (first to 5 points). We use Round Robin for the First Stage, which promises hours of fun, and then the top placements from each pool will advance to the Final Stage into a Double Elimination bracket, until a winner is crowned.
On Sunday at 12PM, we will be hosting a free-to-enter (for all Spectator/Competitor Pass holders) Beyblade X Hasbro Edition Tournament. This event is aimed at players that have never played Beyblade X before or for those that want to enjoy a more casual approach to the game. Players are limited to the Beyblades (or their Takara Tomy counterparts) that Hasbro has released for Wave 1 (see below for the allowed part-list). Loaner Beyblades will be available!
The First Stage will utilise Hasbro’s ‘Bucket’ Stadium, with Top 8 utilising Hasbro’s Beyblade X Xtreme Beystadium. The ruleset is identical to our ‘Beyblade Tournaments Australia’ rule-set, HOWEVER, instead of a 3 on 3 match type, Bladers will be limited to ONE Beyblade per match. Only in Top 8 will there be the option to use 3 on 3 Match Type if both parties agree. Prizes will be given to the Top 4 placements, provided by Hasbro.
Bounties!
A ‘Bounty List’ will be published a few days leading up to BAM14. If you are able to ‘complete’ a bounty, you will receive a raffle ticket which puts you in the running to win a prize!
Does your opponent have a Cobalt Drake? Burst it! Did you defeat a certain player? Defeat an opponent using a LeonClaw combo? And more!
We will be asking the community via Discord to put forward their ideas for Bounties! Get creative!
