Hey what's up Beybladers! The time has come for the next Beyblade Day of Play Tournament and this time we are gearing up and preparing for the open class tournament in August at the American Dream Mall.
The format that we are doing is going to be the B4 Format. This will most likely be the format that will be at the American Dream Mall Tournament that is happening on August 1st.
As some are unaware or not familiar of this format, here is how it works and PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
1. First Stage (Swiss Rounds)- 1 on 1 and first to 4 points.
Bladers have to have 1 Beyblade to use and must use that one Beyblade the whole match.
When playing in the match, there will be a dice roll on high or low and the winner of the dice roll decides the side. Bladers will play on that same side the whole match. NO STAGE FLIPPING so think carefully on what combo you want to use.
2. Top Cut (Eliminations) - 3 on 3 first to 4 points
Same rules as first stage except you need 3 beys with no repeating parts and when playing in the match, bladers need to put their bey in order on what to use 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
If both bladers gone through all beys and have not reached 4 points, then a reshuffle is in place and the battle keeps going until someone gets 4 points.
3. Self KO Rules
So if I am not mistaken, self ko's in the b4 format is rewarded the full points if not 1 point and the beys used fight again. This rule will be clarified more the day of the event.
4. Ban list
Due to Hasbro and Takara not having products released at the same time, any products/parts that are not released from Hasbro before the American Dream Mall on August 1st will not be usable for this tournament. Future releases that will be avaliable before August 1st will be usable for the event (Example- Bullet Griffin, Dran Strike, Ect.) Check the ban list to see what parts can't be used.
