Beyblade Battle Network - Portsmouth Tournament
About this Event
Welcome to the Beyblade Battle Tournament!
Please read fully even if you have attended before as start times, rules and venue may change each time.
This is a 'BEYBLADE X' event. Please ensure that you have the correct type of Beyblades (Beyblade Burst cannot be used). Please read all information before attending the event. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Please note that the start time and details may different from the previous event so ensure that you have read all of the information.
Do not turn up at the event expecting to play without a ticket. There are no ticket sales on the door.
Each participant will need to make an account with BeybladeBattle.net in order to participate (this is so that your scores can be added to the national UK ranking system). Please use your (Beyblade Battle Network) BBN Username when purchasing your tickets.
We organise the largest and most proffesional events in the UK with all of our members having over 20 years experience in Beyblade events. This event is organised by former Beyblade Champions working in partnership with Beyblade.

Location: Priory School, Fawcett Road, Southsea, Portsmouth, PO40DL
Directions: Venue is a short walk from Fratton Train Station. There is limited parking spaces at the venue, small car park by the entrance or bigger car park around the back by the sports fields.
At this event, selling of personal items or Beyblades will not be permitted unless prearanged and approved on discord prior to the event. People should under no circumstances be taking contact details from people as this is against BBN policy.
Please be respectful of the venue and help keep the place tidy. Feel free to bring food and drink but please take your rubbish home with you.
Time
Please arrive at the venue for 2:45pm with a start time of 3pm. We will be using Challonge for this tournament, meaning once the tournament starts there is no way to add you and you will not be able to participate. If any player is running late, they MUST let us know via discord or they will be disqualified.
Prizes & Trophies
Trophies and prizing will be award to the top 3 players at the end of top cut.
Format
This tournament will use a 3 on 3 format where each player uses 3 Beyblades (with no repeating parts) in a predetermined order. They may change Beyblades between battles but not during a battle.
First Stage: Swiss
Finals: Double Elimination (subject to change based on participant and judge numbers)
All genuine TT and Hasbro parts are permitted excluding Metal Needle as it's use can cause damage to the stadiums. If you have any uncertainties about the authenticity of your parts please post a picture on the Facebook page or in our Discord to ask for advice.
Basic Rules: 3 on 3
Players will use three Beyblades. Players must not use more than one part with the same name across your deck. Players are expected to arrive at the stadium ready to play and order chosen. Place you Beyblades or deck box into the holders attached to the stadiums.
Players will need to score 4 points to win a match (7 points in finals). Players will launch after 3, 2, 1, Let it Rip! or alternatively Go Shoot!
All battles will take place in the BX-10 Takara Tomy Stadium.
There is no ban list for 3 on 3 format except MN(MetalNeedle)
Points System:
1 Point = Out Spin
2 Points = Over Finish/ KO into Pocket
2 Points = Burst Finish
3 Points = Xtreme Finish
3 Point = Stadium Out
