Derrick DeSilva, MD, (Internist-Integrative Medicine) will share the best of eastern meets western medicine as we navigate aging-with-intention personal wellness and how to be the architect of your own healthcare.

This series is specifically created to educate and inspire those aged 50+ who desire their lifespan to equal their health span. Our BeWell! lecture series places a friendly spotlight on pro-active lifestyle choices, from simple start-today recommendations to preventative and longevity treatments.

This series is also for Senior Service professionals who wish to expand aging-with-intention wellness practices for themselves, and their clients.

Derrick M. DeSilva M.D. is a world-renowned doctor and scientist, voted “one of the best doctors” by New York Magazine. Dr. DeSilva is the host of a radio talk show called "Ask the Doctor", and his own television show, "To Your Health". He hosts medical segments on CNN and has appeared as a guest on numerous national television programs through the years, including ABC's Nightline, Larry King Live, he is a regular health expert on the TV show, "Extra".

Because of his expertise and desire to educate, Dr. DeSilva has been featured on many national TV shows and news as an expert in a multitude of subjects including naturopathic medicine, supplements, hormone optimization and preventative healthcare.

His focus has always been in bringing together Eastern and Western medicine and giving his patients “The Best of Both Worlds”. Dr. DeSilva's passion is in the field of Optimal Aging Medicine as he calls it.

Dr. DeSilva's practice is located in Edison, New Jersey. Additionally, he has a small concierge practice at Mind, Body Medicine of Florida, in Sarasota.
