Celebrate Winter in the Preserves!

Ever wondered how to connect with nature during the colder months? Join us for Grounding with the Season, a wellness workshop led by V4ME Wellness, and celebrate winter in the forest preserves through a day of restoration, reflection, and community care.

❄️ Mindful nature walk to connect with the landscape and embrace the season
🔥 Cozy bonfire to gather, reflect, and warm up together
🎨 Art-making and creative expression inspired by nature
🌿 Hands-on stewardship through invasive brush clearing and burning
🥔 Seasonal refreshments including roasted sweet potatoes, herbal tea, and chocolate

This event is free and open to participants ages 13 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a chaperone.

Come together to slow down, give back to the land, and welcome the beauty of winter in community.

Info: Begin with a gentle group walk out into the woodlands. We will then transition into a health coaching season and some nature art!

Info: Join long time stewards in clearing and burning invasive brush that has taken over our woodlands!

Info: Enjoy sweet potatoes, cooked on the fire, with all the toppings as well as, tea, dates, and chocolate.
