Janan is a half-Palestinian half-redneck comedian and yoga teacher from Texas. While she is an anomaly as a person, audiences relate to her story as that kid that just wants so badly to fit in and be cool. As a result, she consistently over dresses and has fashionable haircuts. Janan’s style of humor is silly, witty, and sarcastic.She's opened for acts such as Ronny Chieng, Nimesh Patel, Mo Amer, and Maria Bamford. She was a finalist for Houston's Funniest Comedian Contest 2019, a semi-finalist in the Funniest Person in Houston competition 2024, and a featured act in Queer Comedy Festival 2025.
