Between Two Breaths Walkabout Exhibition Tour

Join members of The Drawing Journal for an exhibition walkaround of their exhibition ‘Between Two Breaths’ at Queen Street Studios, Belfast on Saturday 7th November, 2 pm.
The Drawing Journal is a collaborative drawing group investigating the materiality of and relationship between text and drawing and the possibility to translate one through the other. This exhibition presents outcomes from collaboration between members. Group members send each other excerpts of creative writing and drawings for mutual examination and re-interpretation. Drawn images are described through text, and prose visualized through drawing.
During this informal walkaround, members of the group will discuss the origins of the project, their individual approaches to drawing, and the conversations and connections that have emerged through collaboration and creative exchange.
This is an opportunity to engage with the exhibition through the voices of the artists.
