Baynes illuminates C.S. Lewis's writing on Scripture, while at the same time arguing that Lewisโs most glorious writing emerges when he eschews academic biblical scholarship and relies instead on his greatest strengthโhis literary imagination, especially in the Chronicles of Narnia.
Baynes will read selections from her book, discuss her work on C.S Lewis, sign copies of her book, and answer questions from the audience. Copies of ๐๐๐ญ๐ฐ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง will be available to purchase.
Leslie Baynes is associate professor of New Testament and Second Temple Judaism at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. She focuses on ancient apocalyptic literature and C. S.
