Artist Statement:
Between Calm and Chaos is a reflection of the layered emotions I carry daily; love, fear, joy, sadness, and hope; colliding all at once. My work in this show embraces these contradictions rather than separating them, revealing the beauty in holding tension without resolution.
Through textures, neutrals, and sudden bursts of color, I explore how serenity and turbulence can occupy the same space. Each piece is a snapshot of my inner world, where stillness meets movement, vulnerability meets strength, and chaos transforms into possibility.
This collection is both an outlet and a mirror. It releases my own emotions onto the canvas and other media, while inviting you, the viewer, to see yourself in the layers. My intention is not to offer answers, but to inspire connection and hope, and to remind us that transformation doesn’t come from escaping chaos, but from finding calm within it.
