With souring vocals and intricate guitar work Jake Dalby and his backing band The Roses Turned Black have been gigging all over Melbourne at venues like Penny black, The workers club, The Bendigo hotel and more.

GARETH HUGGETT & THE REMEDY Is made up of some of Melbournes finest musicians and the band has been blowing the roof off venues across Melbourne and beyond for the past 18 months with their red hot rockin’ Rhythm and Blues act.

With Gareth on vocals and harmonica, Rhys on drums, Don on guitar and Ben on bass, Blues Train regulars GARETH HUGGETT & THE REMEDY’s show is tight, energetic and powerful, showcasing Gareth’s original music plus a bunch of Blues classics to keep you grooving.

We live in an unstable time and we play music to greeve, release and let go of these frustations. We endeavour to change your direction in life through our music. It's not about us.. It's about creating our own families outside of the traditional way. Not much to say about life in such a chaotic time. As a band, We share similar views and if it wasn't for keeping it as old school as possible, then a stable musical platform would not exist for us to help our fellow comrades rise above the anxieties of an unhopeful view on the future. We share songs about life after a bad life and everything in between. We strive to empower our community with a "thick skin" approach towards life to battle inner demons and win the fight on this short life on PLANET EARTH!

Gabriel Vargas is a singer-songwriter whose music moves between rock, world music and soul, drawing on influences from Celtic folk to Brazilian rhythm. With a powerful tenor voice and a storyteller’s approach to songwriting, his songs explore spirituality, culture and the search for meaning in a modern world.
