“Better Get Together” Neighborhood Party, Art Installation, & Community Garden Launch

Come enjoy a fun outdoor day program filled with community, music, artisan crafts, & art installations celebrating our upcoming community use and revisioning of North Sacramento School. Art installations will include work by renowned Shepard Ferry as well as many local area artists. We will be launching a community garden for all to share, both young & old. History buffs will be excited to know the event will be co-located with California Preservation’s “Doors Open” schedule which will give guests a sneak peek into the auditorium & view an art installation chronicling the historic impact of the school where many of North Sacramento’s social & neighborhood developments started. Bring your family & tell friends for some fun and inspiration towards our upcoming arts-based community center.
