Better Futures Summit

Better Futures is back and better than ever. Traditionally hosted as a one-day competition, this year Better Futures has evolved into a two-day summit, celebrating our 5th birthday and igniting a call to our community to reflect, recognize, and recommit to the mutual impact we will create in the next five years.

The summit will bring together leaders, innovators, and change-makers like yourself to confront persistent inequities and shape a shared vision for a Better Future. Together, we will move beyond conversation toward collective action to accelerate innovation at HBCUs.

Better Futures has become a national stage for the bold innovation and entrepreneurial excellence rising from the nation’s 100+ HBCUs. The competition empowers students and alumni to showcase groundbreaking startups, gain exposure beyond their campus, and compete for the resources needed to scale their ideas.

To date, Better Futures has awarded $75,000 to visionary founders.
