Come be a part of another great beginning to the Christmas season: the first annual Bethalto Spirit Christmas Parade. Everyone is invited to line Erwin Plegge Blvd. from Roselawn Memory Gardens to Central Park on Saturday, November 26th as the parade steps off at 4 p.m. and journeys towards Bethalto Spirit Christmas Village. Upon arrival, Santa Claus will head to the Gazebo and throw the switch to kick off this year’s multi-weekend event.To make this event a successful celebration, we need floats! Any individual, family, group, church, school band or club, civic organization or business is encouraged to participate! There is no charge for entering a float in the parade. The parade theme is “Christmas Movies”, but any Christmas-themed float is welcome! You can find information about entering the parade and an application to participate at www.bethaltospirit.net under the Events tab. We need all submissions by October 15!
