This is a FREE event. With over 2.5 million total book sales, Kiki Swinson has clearly made her mark in the literary game. Her works feature resilient women making tough—and sometimes not quite legal—decisions to survive. Inspired by her own experiences and a five-year stint in federal prison, Kiki completed her first novel while incarcerated. Her second novel, Wifey, went on to become a #1 Essence® bestseller. At NBBF, Kiki will share how she expanded her writing career into film production, screenwriting, mentoring, and coaching. She'll also be signing copies of her new book, Hunting Ava.
