Join People for Mobility Justice for a ride celebrating the art and culture of South LA.
**RIDE ATTENDANCE WILL BE CAPPED AT 30 PARTICIPANTS TO ENSURE LIMITED ATTENDANCE AND SAFE DISTANCING **
Join People for Mobility Justice for a beautifully curated ride around South LA presented by Metro’s Bicycle Education Safety Training (BEST) Program . Participants will get a chance to experience some incredible artwork while getting to know about the neighborhoods that make South LA so unique. Stops will include cultural landmarks as well as small businesses and local vendors. Self-guided ride materials will be made available after the ride.
Pre-registration and attendance confirmation is required for all participants. Once you are registered, we will send you a waiver and location information to confirm your attendance. If you are attending with other family members, each person must be registered separately in order to attend. Register now to guarantee your spot!
While this ride is being organized by PMJ and South LA residents and funded by Metro, we strongly encourage all who will be going on this ride to reflect on how the impact of gentrification and displacement have changed South LA communities. Support local businesses and vendors, be respectful of the community, and be mindful of the spaces you will be visiting.
