Please join Moving Image Preservation of Puget Sound (MIPoPS) for a collaborative, skill-sharing event focused on best practices for enhancing accessibility, including creating captions and transcriptions for audiovisual materials and providing audio and braille translations for print-disabled people. We'll hear from local archivists about the tools, workflows, lessons learned, and strategies they use to enhance accessibility. After a series of brief presentations, we'll open the floor to group discussion. Please bring any thoughts, questions, concerns, or ideas on how we, as an archival community, can work together to support each other in this important accessibility process.
Learn about workflows and considerations being implemented at:
- Densho
- Museum of History & Industry, Sophie Frye Bass Library
