Hi Perth! We are holding auditions for our up and coming FRINGE WORLD show, "Best Kept Secret," written and directed by Hayley Smith and Katharina Brieden.Blurb
Step into the sultry world of "Best Kept Secret," a cabaret-inspired theatre piece where laughter and empowerment take center stage! Join five fabulous women as they unravel the delightful mysteries of life, love, and sisterhood through a mix of witty banter and steamy dance numbers. With a bold blend of humor and heart, this show celebrates feminism by amplifying women's voices and reclaiming their stories, proving that strength and sensuality can coexist beautifully. Get ready for a night of empowerment and laughs—because in this show, secrets are meant to be shared!
Characters
- Missy: 20-30yrs. Strong business woman and an absolute girlboss, however is driven by a fear of misrepresenting women and therefore is under constant pressure to be the best.
- Anne: 25-35yrs. The mama of the group! But she's also actually a mum to three kids. She takes care of everyone else, but she's ready to live out her inner fantasies.
- Tyler: 18-25yrs. Sarcastic tom boy who loves to dance around in her boxers. On the outside she's laid back, but an over-thinker at heart. She always puts her friends first.
- Connie: 18-22yrs. The baby of the group! Optimistic and naive about the world. She's the type of person who had their wedding planned out by the age of 8.
- Eden: 20-30yrs.The epitome of elegance and grace. Confident within herself and tapped into her sexual side. She's the grounding energy of the group.
This show includes some sexy and steamy numbers, with partial nudity if performers feel comfortable.
No need for prior experience, beginners welcomed!
