Meet all of our adoptable pets and more at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on May 30, 2026, from 11 am - 2 pm! This FREE admission, family-friendly event is going to be centered around rescue groups and their adoptable animals, and helping to fundraise and bring in donations for all the rescues in attendance! Hosted by Pet Supplies Plus, there will be free giveaways, and other attractions include games, food trucks, live music, and other pet-friendly activities.
⚠️ Important things to consider:
▪ Approved applicants are eligible for same-day adoptions with our rescue. Keep in mind, though, that every rescue/shelter is privy to setting its own guidelines for its adoption protocols.
▪ We suggest completing an adoption application with us before the event to become "pre-approved" and skip some of the paperwork when at this event. We don't hold dogs, so you will want to show up early!
▪ We will require that you have proof of past/current preventative care/vet history for your pets on hand, as most veterinary offices are closed on Sunday. We all want these rescue pets to go to homes that will provide the best care!
▪ This is a pet-friendly event, so be sure to keep your "friendly" pets under control, especially while interacting with other animals. This can be a stressful time for some dogs and cats, and many dogs can get reactive when approached by other dogs due to the overstimulating environment. Please do not bring personal dogs with you that may be stressed out by a busy environment. We want everyone to have a great time! If you are bringing your dog to meet a potential match, it might be more appropriate to stay a distance away from the main adoption area to do a proper and less stressful meet-and-greet.
