Bespoke Folk presents Bespoke Folk for Families, a concert for parents and children, with Mickey & Michelle and Broken Creek.
An afternoon concert series that parents or carers can bring their kids and bubs to. Beautiful music for all ages to enjoy, with shorter set lengths and a family friendly atmosphere. Your children will be enthralled by Michelle's beautiful harp, Mickey and Erin's folky fiddles and Lachlan's array of guitars and banjos. They can boogie in front of the stage, or be lulled by peaceful melodies. Performers will come and say hello to children after the concert and are open to questions from small curious minds and larger adult minds as well of course!
Descending from the mountains are harp and fiddle extravaganza Mickey & Michelle, whose energetic and virtuosic performances have captured hearts throughout Australia and New Zealand. Celebrated for their artistry and virtuosic skill, Mickey & Michelle weave a gorgeous ‘chamber-folk’ tapestry of original Celtic music infused with vocal harmony and fiery improvisations.
Joining them are the superb sounds of Broken Creek. Broken Creek are Lachlan and Erin Heycox from rural Victoria, who weave compelling musical reimaginings of Australiana for banjo, guitar, fiddle and voice that tell stories from Australia’s past and present.
