#BESAG2026: Aquatic Ecology Group Annual Meeting 2026
About this Event
This year we will have a thread of wholescape science running through our event and are delighted to be hosted by the Institute of Zoology (IoZ), ZSL London.
Beginning at 13:00 on 3rd September, we will have a technical workshop on Bayesian approaches to data analysis followed by a round-table debate on the theme of wholescaping, led by marine and freshwater experts. We will then convene to the pub for food, drinks, and networking.
On 4th September, we will have keynote presentations from world-leading researchers. We will also hear from our outstanding 2026 ECR award winner (sponsored by Global Change Biology). We’ll finish the day with a drinks reception, to give you another chance to network.
The standard ticket for this event includes admission to both days of the event. If you can only attend on the 4th September , please select ‘Day 2 only’

*These tickets are BES member-only rates. The concession is available to students, unemployed or retired members and anyone who is a resident in a or income country.
Refreshments, including teas and coffee, will be provided on both days. Lunch and a drinks reception will be provided on Day 2.
