Comedian and Tampa native Bert Kreischer and local on-air personality Mike Calta announced the benefit show BERT AID taking place at the Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater! Kreischer will headline the event with surprise guests to be announced later. All proceeds from BERT AID will go to Metropolitan Ministries to aid relief for those affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.
“I was born in St. Petersburg, raised in Tampa, and went to school in Tallahassee,” says Kreischer, “anything that happens to the state of Florida, I always feel like happens to me. I think all Floridians feel this way. Florida defined me and the Bay area is family. I will do anything to help family.”
