Berlin Fringe 2024

Comedy Café Berlin proudly presents the Berlin Fringe 2024 a five-night comedy festival running from July 24-28. This year's lineup features a brilliant set of award-winning local and international acts offering a variety of performances from stand-up and sketch to clowning and late-night shows.

Highlights include

• John Luke Roberts in "John-Luke-A-Palooza" – One of the Telegraph’s top 50 Comedians of the 21st Century. “A one-man-finger-in-the-dyke against the blandification of comedy” The Guardian. **** The Guardian. John-Luke Roberts has written and performed 10 critically acclaimed solo shows and this year he’s performing all ten of them at the Edinburgh Fringe. Clowning absurdism and pin-sharp joke writing. He’ll be performing A Mystery Show from the repertoire here in Berlin
• Frankie Thompson in "Horrible Things" – Over the past two years Frankie Thompson has garnered acclaim for her hit show "Cats" which has been described as a "boundary-pushing performance" by numerous reviewers. And ‘Wonderfully confoundingly funny" in the Guardian’s Top 5 Comedy Shows of 2022. "Horrible Things" continues this trend with its darkly humorous take on the macabre blending comedy with a theatrical twist that has captivated audiences and critics alike.
• Freddi Gralle in "Meditate On This" – Freddi a Berlin-based comedian and writer for the Late Night Show “Shapira! Shapira!” brings her sardonic humor to the stage with "Meditate On This" a show that explores her quest for happiness amidst the absurdities of modern life. Known for her autobiographical and self-reflective style Freddi has performed extensively across Europe and the US making appearances on Germany’s Comedy Central Nightwash and SKY One. 

Attendees can also participate in workshops throughout the festival.
