Rami Nima

Mixing the dark with the weird and lacing it all with clever punchlines and brought in a hilariously dry tone. Rami won't convince you of anything. His method is subtle and will desoriëntate you in a unusual way. Rami won the Griffioen comedy festival 2021.

Originally from Georgia, already doing standup for 3 years in Switzerland, Georgia, Russia, Germany and now in the Netherlands. He also was an invited co-median for a BBC arts hour on tour live podcast.

I’ve been living in Amsterdam so long I thought I was Dutch but then I looked at my passport and it turns out I’m British. Sorry.

Kuriakose Vaisian

Kuriakose Vaisian has been doing stand-up for more than seven years now, joking about his life, his wife, his family at large, and Jesus Christ. That's a joke of course; he never makes jokes about his wife. He's performed at multiple cities across India, alongside some of the biggest names in the Indian comedy scene. Kuriakose has also appeared on Comedy Central India's Sterling Reserve Comedy Project in 2019, and is a regular feature at comedy festivals in the Netherlands.

Kuria's humour is a mix of observational and anecdotal, drawing a lot of inspiration from his own life and the things that happen around him. He's got an easy, laidback style that makes him relatable and accessible. He performs mostly in English.

Andréa van der Meel

Hailing from Nieuw Zeeland and armed with a Dutch last name, Andréa embodies a delightful contradiction: The least looking and sounding Dutch person you’ll ever encounter.

Embracing her self-proclaimed status as "aggressively single”, Andréa recounts her relatable dating tales as the deaf girl next-door, all-in pursuit of finding a Lord with a ring. Andrea's popularity soared following a viral moment on Instagram where she shared her comical journey of learning Dutch using Duolingo.

Her engaging storytelling, observations and jack-in-the-box style have captivated audiences, establishing her as a rising star in the Dutch comedy scene.

Doors open at 7:30pm. Show at 8pm. There will be a 15 minutes intermission.

A masterpiece of the Amsterdam School architectural style

The Beurs van Berlage was designed by renowned Dutch architect H.P. Berlage and was completed in 1903.

The Beurs van Berlage is a milestone in the history of modern architecture. It influenced many modernist architects, in particular functionalists and the Amsterdam School.

It was built in the same period (1896-1903) as Amsterdam's Central Station and Stedelijk Museum. Its fusion of traditional and modern elements makes it a significant architectural landmark.

We’re transforming this historic gem into the perfect comedy hotspot where you can unwind, enjoy great food and drinks, and enjoy a night of good laughter!
