Think you’ve got the voice to win it all? The Berkshire Singer Showcase is the county-wide karaoke competition shining a spotlight on the best singers in the Berkshires. Contestants will battle it out for $2,750 in cash prizes plus bragging rights as Berkshire’s top karaoke star! Our first audition night will be hosted by VFW Post 996 in North Adams. We'll be having auditions from 8pm to 10pm, and regular karaoke will be held from 10pm to midnight. Come out, support our Showcase, and show us what you got!
📝Audition Details & Rules
- All singers audition for free
- Must be 21 or older to participate
- Pre-registration required: berkshiresingershowcase.thealchemylab.site
- Songs must be 5 minutes or less

- Singers are rated by the in-bar audience across 5 categories (Vocal Ability, Stage Presence, Showmanship, Song Choice & Creativity, and Audience Connection & Likability)
- Nightly Winner: $100 cash + a guaranteed spot in the Final Showcase (January)
- 2nd & 3rd place: Advance to the Runners-Up Showdown for another chance at the finale
- Didn’t advance? No problem — singers can audition again on another night (if spots are available).

They put a lot of effort into running a great sounding professional system to make singers feel like they're performing with a band, and with wireless mics singers have the freedom to walk/dance around the bar and really own the stage.
