Join Karima Wilson, aka Professora Venenosa, for the second installment of Berimbau: The Voice of Capoeira — a live musical concert experience exploring the full range of rhythms played on the berimbau, the iconic instrument at the heart of Capoeira. This show will feature local musicians, members of the Capoeira community, and a special choreography by legendary Brazilian Choereography and Capoeira master, Jelon Vieira. Showcasing the full range of percussion instruments used within capoeira, from the drum, pandeiro, agogô, this concert invites the audience into the music and world of Capoeira itself.
