About this Event
New York African Film Festival lands at Brooklyn Academy of Music this weekend where it all got started for us!
Cannot wait to enjoy the bliss that is the annual Dance Africa festival packed with vendors, fish platters, nutcrackers, and familiar faces. The final day of Memorial Day weekend ends with an evening of incredible shorts being co-presented by.....BeReelBlack Cinema Club! These short films invite us into stories from the US, South Africa, Nigeria, and the UK about memory, identity, madness, and uncertainty.
