This workshop is built around experiential learning, practical skills, and real life therapeutic tools that counsellors and therapists can use immediately in their work. Throughout the day, you’ll explore a range of grief focused approaches that go beyond theory and into the lived experience of loss. Together, we’ll look at how we grieve, how grief becomes stuck or complicated, and what helps clients move from overwhelm and powerlessness into emotional movement and meaning making.
You’ll work with interactive exercises, reflective practice, and grounded therapeutic techniques that support clients who feel unable to move forward. We’ll explore breaking unhelpful patterns, offering practical answers, and using safe, structured experiential work to deepen emotional connection without pushing clients beyond their window of tolerance.
