This evening the club are excited to present Cuban vocalist Beny Luis as he leads his band in an evening of songs drawn from his homeland’s rich traditions of Trova, Filin, Bolero and Son.
Featuring Joel Knee (trombone), Fernando Depestre (piano), Frank Portuondo (bass) and Tristan Butler (drums, percussion & musical direction) this evening’s set comprises music from some of Cuba’s most influential song-writers including Pablo Milanés, Silvio Rodriguez, Beny Moré, Polo Montañez, Joseito Fernandez and many more.
