Explore multicultural melodies, master complex rhythms, and learn traditional dance steps that will get your feet tapping! You'll study Yugoslavian folk dances, learn accompaniment patterns, and even perform together during a special Sunday lunch session.
The weekend kicks off with a spectacular Friday evening performance by The Magic Violin Trio, with a special invitation for course participants to join in on some pieces!
Who is this for? If you play any pitched instrument (guitars, mandolins, ouds, bowed/plucked strings, wind instruments), or can handle rhythmic and chord-based accompaniments, you're welcome! Tunes will be learned by ear, with sheet music provided as a guide for rich embellishment and phrasing.
