Six amazing Benriach Distillery whiskies matched with six beautifully created bites.A Speyside single malt Scotch whisky as intriguing and extraordinary as Benriach could not have come to be without a unique whisky making heritage, dating from 1898, when founder John Duff built his distillery.
Ruggedly beautiful, Benriach stands on the site of the old Riach farm in north Speyside, drawing water from a mineral-rich aquifer, deep beneath the distillery. Thanks to a long-standing tradition of distilling three styles of whisky; classic unpeated, Highland peated and triple distilled, together with an eclectic selection of casks from around the world, our whisky makers are able to explore the full flavour possibilities of single malt, creating some of the richest, most multi-layered whiskies in Speyside.
We welcome Charlotte at Grain & Glass and look forward to listening to her stories of Benriach.
The fun doesn't stop there though. In parallel, we'll also be tasting a creative bites prepared by Birmingham food legend Carl Finn.
Delicious bites line up paired with Benriach:
1. Persian bread, honey and yoghurt
2. Nut and muscovado porridge
3. Butter, tarragon, potato, marmite mayo
4. Salted almond chocolate soup
5. Malt loaf, poached pear, candied pumpkin seeds
6. Medjool date, cream, miso caramel

Tickets are £40 or £35 for members of The Birmingham Whisky Club ( ONE TICKET PER MEMBER )

No refunds or transfers. The event is strictly over 18's Only. If you're lucky enough to look under 25, please bring your relevant photo ID to the event with you. Tickets are sent in e-ticket format. These don't need to be printed but please have available on your phone on request.
* Members of the Whisky Club tickets are at a reduced rate of £5 off, please ensure you bring your valid membership card to show at the door with your ticket. Entry will be refused if you have purchased a members ticket without having a valid membership in place. One 'Members ticket' per member.
