Benny Bleu at Waldo Folk!

Waldo Folk is proud to present Benny Bleu performing in the Tap Room at Waldo Pizza on Wednesday, April 24th, 7-9pm.

Benny Bleu's award-winning banjo tunes are inspired by the deep lake valleys and steep highlands of his home state, New York. Having studied and played with regional old-time visionaries Mac Benford, Richie Stearns, Judy Hyman, and Bruce Molsky, Benny Bleu's swaying banjo tunes are reflective of the local flavor. His recent album March of the Mollusk is full of meditative banjo tunes, that hold true to the local tradition and offer a collection of grooves soothing in their dance-like delivery.

Benny Bleu is the first of many artists we met at Folk Alliance who will be joining us for shows this year. He is immensely talented and we are thrilled to have him join us for an intimate show.

The two-hour show will start at 7:00 PM and doors will open at 5:30pm on April 24th at the Tap Room at Waldo Pizza.

Food and drink from Waldo Pizza will be available for purchase throughout the show.

Seating is first come first serve at shared tables. Please arrive early to select your seat.
