Bennett & Knight present their second album, CHOUETTE. A musically wry, owl’s eye view of the world.From ‘Undoing’ which dives into the dark legacy of slavery, to the poignant nostalgia of ‘Daisy Dance’ and a touching tribute to Lewisham's renowned ‘Mr Pink’.
CHOUETTE has storytelling at its heart; Ginger reflects on growing up in ‘80’s Lewisham and on today's affairs in a way that is often funny but always deeply personal and emotionally honest. Whilst, Frances's compositions draw on a variety of musical influences to illustrate these unique stories and provide a rich auditory canvas for Ginger's intriguing lyrics.
Bennett and Knight perform their music as part of a wonderful quintet.
