To help knock down the walls of stigma surrounding mental health and raise vital funds and awareness for charities that support people experiencing mental health issues, Benjamin Roberts has been attempting to spend at least twenty minutes on every one of the 577 streets in the Adelaide CBD, creating and performing.
Beginning on April 29 2024, Ben first completed the Southwest Quarter by performing on 108 streets. Then continued on to perform on an additional 117 to complete the Southeast quarter on December 23rd.
Ben has made significant donations along the way. Including Charities such as Lighthouse Projects Inc, Family Connections, Sophie's Legacy and the Feast Queer Youth Drop In.
...And that deserves a celebration.
Please join Ben and some of his project companions in concert at the beautiful studio of South Australian Artist Cheryl Bridgart, Beltana House.
This will be an intimate night of song and stories about the project and a celebration of what was achieved in 2024.
