Kyiv Chamber Choir "Sophia" is conducting its 8th tour of European countries under the name Pursuit light. Under the artistic direction of Oleksiy Shamrytskyi, the Sofia Chamber Choir has been widely recognized for its innovative programming, virtuoso singing and masterful mastery of a repertoire that spans the period from the Renaissance to Modernism. Chamber Choir "Sofia" is an ambassador of Ukrainian culture in Europe and is widely represented at choral festivals and competitions such as the Beethoven Fest in Bonn. We were inspired to create this program by the text of Omar Khayyam: ""Pursue light, that is the knower's realm Hear music, it is the prophets' psalm" . Not only Ukrainian music is widely represented in the program, but also modern music of America, Holland and Hungary. The duration of the program is 60 minutes..
