Friends and fellow riders we are planning a benefit ride for our dear friend and brother, Wes. As many of you know, Wes has faced and overcome significant challenges in his life, demonstrating incredible strength and resilience. He's a testament to the power of perseverance, and his dedication to a healthier life is an inspiration to us all.
Recently, Wes was involved in a serious motorcycle accident while en route to his niece's birthday party. While he’s thankfully going to be okay, the accident resulted in substantial injuries that will require extensive recovery time—months of healing and rehabilitation. His beloved motorcycle was totaled.
More than just a means of transportation, riding is a source of solace and strength for Wes, a way to clear his head and reconnect with the positive changes he's made. To help Wes during this difficult period, we're organizing a community ride in his honor – a show of support from the biker community that he values so dearly.
Whether you can contribute financially or not, your presence on the ride would mean the world to him. We’ll be gathering at the Maverick gas station in Magna at 11:00 AM, with kickstands up at 12:00 PM. The route will take us through scenic Utah, heading north to Saratoga Springs, then through Cedar Fort and 5 Mile Pass, before continuing to Tooele, and will conclude at the Willow Springs Care Facility in Tooele UT. There will be Sergio’s Pizza Food truck at the Care facility for those who would like to grab a bite to eat. Rest stops will be provided to accommodate riders of all experience levels.
