Please join us at The Ole Watering Hole for a Benefit for Braxton Smith on Sept. 14th at 2:00 - ?? There will be BBQ, Silent Dessert Auction, Silent Auction and a Live Band. Auctions start around 4:00.
We are in much need of DESSERTS and auction items. Please reach out to me (Lana Yountz) or Melissa DeAnn Maddry and let us know how you can help, especially with DESSERTS. I know from multiple benefits that we’ve got some great bakers out there. Please help us out.
Braxton Smith (27) was in a Motorcycle accident when a car pulled out in front of him on Gumtree Road on July 13. Braxton broke his collar bone on the right... and his ankle and foot on the left. When they first started the surgery they knew he had 7 broken bones from his lower shin down... but when they got in there they ended up having to piece his foot back together.. all the cartlidge had even burst. So he has lots of metal and screws. Dr. said it was like a puzzle. He has to be completely off his foot for a minimum of 8-10 weeks. Jennifer Vernon goes on Maternity leave in late September for they are expecting the birth of their babygirl. All the proceeds will be going towards Braxtons Medical expenses.
With all the many unnecessary motorcycle wrecks happening, we’ve got to bond together as a family and support our brothers and sisters. Hope to see you at Ole Watering Hole on September 14.
