TJ has recently faced an incredibly difficult health battle. After dealing with a rare form of cancer that spread from her thyroid and brain to her spine, she underwent a major surgery to remove a 3.5 lb tumor. Her spine has since been rebuilt with 68 bolts, screws, and plates.
The recovery process is expected to take one to two years, creating an immense financial burden for TJ and her young children. Despite having insurance, she faces significant out-of-pocket costs, including seven rounds of chemotherapy at $1,700 each, over $65,000 in doctor visits, and extensive hospital stays.
All proceeds from this event will go directly toward TJ’s medical bills and helping her family maintain their household during this long recovery.
