We are in Year One. The Year of the Fire Horse has just begun—and with it, a raw, propulsive energy that wants to go.But here is the paradox: We are also at the spring equinox. The seeds are planted. The soil is warming. And yet nothing visible has emerged.
This is the season nobody celebrates. The work that happens underground. The daily tending when you cannot yet see if anything is taking root.
This is where we are.
THE INVISIBLE LABOR
In our rush for results, we forget: There is a whole phase between planting and harvest where nothing looks like progress.
This workshop is for that phase.
We will look at where weeds have grown up to crowd your 2026 intentions—old habits, distractions, the noise that thrives when your attention wavers. We will notice where you forgot to water what you planted. And we will practice staying—staying when it is tender, staying when it is boring, staying when you cannot yet prove that anything is happening.
Because it is. Just beneath the surface.
WHAT WE'LL PRACTICE
We begin with a single question: What did you declare for this New Year/Fire Horse year?
Then we move through 108 repetitions of specific, simple movements—not to improve, not to perform, but to train the mind in staying. Your mind will want to get creative. It will suggest "better" ways. It will resist. This is the threshold. We cross it breath by breath.
From repetition, we flow—balancing effort and ease, mirroring the equinox when light and dark hold equal weight.
We close with breathwork and deep journaling, unearthing what still holds on, and what it means to trust the work before the fruits.
WHY 108?
108 is the number of devotion. In yoga, 108 energy lines converge at the heart. In astronomy, it maps the cosmic relationship between Earth, Sun, and Moon. In practice, it is the number that carries you past the mind's resistance into presence.
