Join us for a special afternoon conversation in the lower-level classroom with assistant director and collections curator Amalia Wojciechowski as we explore two remarkable works from the permanent collection "Pacific Loons (Black-throated Divers)" by John James Audubon and "The Heron" by N.C. Wyeth. Gain new insights into "Pacific Loons," including recent discoveries using infrared spectral imaging, and experience how N.C. Wyeth, an artist driven by the desire to remake his artworks, created "The Heron" from what was once, perhaps, a painting of tall ships. . .This program is FREE to attend!
