Join us for an event at St Catherine's Village Hall!

Femme Films is a volunteer run community cinema based in the Woking/Guildford area that aims to champion female-led films that go often overlooked in mainstream cinemas.

Bend it like Beckham is a hilarious, heartwarming and nostalgic take on family, English/Indian culture and female friendship. Starring Parminder Nagra as Jess, a girl who longs to break out of her family’s firm grasp, and Keira Knightly as Jules, a striker on the local football team who encourages Jess to join. A great film to bring a little summer fun to your dreary autumn Wednesday.

Light refreshments will be available. For drinks (teas, coffees etc) and snacks (popcorn, crisps) we just ask kindly for any donation, so bring cash please!! Also feel free to bring anything you would like to snack on or drink!!
