Bend It Like Beck with Junestone Duo
Bend It Like Beck — Frank Koren and Chris Wheeler (guitars), Andrew Marshall (bass) Matt Burns (drums) and Miles Evans-Branagh (keys) originally began as a one-off tribute to Jeff Beck for a fundraiser. The chemistry was undeniable, and quickly grew into something more than a tribute. Wheeler and Koren had some rough sketches of songs that could be laid down in a “Beck-ish” style. The players from the tribute performance were on board and the band entered Boxcar Studio in Hamilton and recorded six songs live-off-the-floor. The end result is All Roads Lead To E. The album is available on Apple Music and Spotify and a limited run of vinyl. Now BILB is an ongoing live phenomenon, performing original music project in the grand tradition of Mr Beck and other guitarists.
