Join us at the Breckenridge Brewery for an expert panel discussion on the power of data collection & risk based scheduling analytics.
About this Event

This live panel discussion (with live streaming accessibility) will examine the findings of recent benchmark data of over 2,000 projects and 25,000 schedules from SmartPM’s risk-based CPM scheduling technologies used today in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.

The panel of industry experts will provide their professional perspectives across the disciplines of scheduling and planning governance, schedule quality, schedule performance (delay & recovery) and schedule risk management. The benchmark data and analytics will be shared with the audience and key findings and conclusions from analytics performed by SmartPM will be discussed.

Topics include strategies to gauge the proficiency of the project scheduler as evidenced by the schedule quality and methods for analyzing quality; gauge the schedule performance and progress management practices and gauge the project team’s ability to manage and mitigate the project schedule risks due to changing conditions, delays and unforeseen risks through project completion.

The panel will discuss the essential role of a quality baseline schedule and accurate and realistic periodic schedule updates have in establishing entitlement to EOTs, calculating delay damages and resolving time related disputes. The panel will also look at contract scheduling specifications, the DCMA 14 Point Standard and discuss the effectiveness of scheduling contract requirements that enumerate schedule quality standards, contemporaneous time impact analysis requirements and risk and recovery planning on live projects and extending into the end game of dispute resolution.

Learn about:

  1. Understand risk profiles and data analytics produced from large scale, benchmarked scheduling data
  2. How schedule data collection and analytics technology adoption advances practices and schedule improvements in the planning and scheduling discipline and schedule risk management
  3. Compare the state of the industry with regards project schedule practices, quality measurement, performance measurement, and risk mitigation and impact on outcomes of dispute resolution processes.
  4. Discuss construction schedule data analytics and automation technology advances and how these advances are going to change construction contracts, schedule risk management, claims and disputes.
