Born in Vancouver, raised in Los Angeles, and is currently living in New York — Ben Wendel enjoys a dynamic career as a performer, composer and producer.
Ben has collaborated and recorded with many greats, including Tigran Hamasyan, Bill Frisell, Terence Blanchard, Antonio Sanchez, Gerald Clayton, Linda May Han Oh, Moonchild, Snoop Dogg, and Prince. Ben is also a founding member of the Grammy nominated group Kneebody.
Ben has been featured on dozens of recordings and has released seven solo albums. His latest recording, Understory: Live at the Village Vanguard, is due out this October.
