You would be hard-pressed to find two more inspiring, outspoken and provocative figures in Australian music than Ben Lee and Georgia Maq. Both charting their own unique paths in an industry that too often rewards conformity and predictability, they have formed a deep bond over the years as friends, collaborators, rabble rousers and mutual enablers. Now, for the first time, this September, they join forces for: The “Two Most Annoying People You Love” Tour.
The tour will take them across national stages performing a two-hour show in prestigious theatres, both on stage the entire time, backing each other up, harmonising, performing deep cuts, bold covers as well as each others' classic tunes.
Neither an artist to rest on their laurels, Ben and Georgia will both also be road testing new material from their forthcoming recorded projects, offering audiences a once-in-a-lifetime experience being a fly on the wall witnessing two great Australian songwriters at the peak of their powers, revelling in their friendship, their love of music, and the power of a great song.
