You're invited to join us for the Beltane Faire at Double Tree by Hilton located at 150 S. Nicolet Rd., Appleton, WI.
Beltane, or Bealtaine, is the Gaelic May Day festival marking the onset of summer. Traditionally held on May 1st, or around the midpoint between the spring equinox and summer solstice, it celebrates the peak of spring and the imminent arrival of summer. Fertility is a central theme of this joyous holiday.
The festival is characterized by bonfires, maypole dancing, and fertility rituals, all symbolizing the vibrant energy of the season. Beltane derives from the Celtic phrase "the fires of Bel," highlighting the significance of fire in the festivities.
Entrance to the Beltane Celebration is $5.
Join us for an enchanting evening Beltane Concert featuring Peter Phippen & Victoria Shoemaker from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Tickets are $30 and can be secured in advance to ensure your spot. Seating is limited, so act fast!
