BELTANE marks the midway point between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. In the Celtic calendar it marks the crossing over from GIAMOS (Dark) to SAMOS (Light) – moving into the BRIGHT half of the year and the beginning of Summer.
It is directly opposite to Samhain (Celtic New Year) in the Wheel.
This is a time of JOY, EXPANSION and GROWTH – in nature life force is expanding upwards and outwards from the earth. The hedgerows, trees and fields are bursting with new growth – it is UNSTOPPABLE.This is a time to take action, GROW and EXPAND YOUR OWN REALITY and MANIFEST THE VISION that came through in the dreamtime of Winter. Beltane is a time of BLOSSOMING
Tune into the POTENTIAL within YOUYour VAST CAPACITY to LOVE, to SERVE, to UPLIFT YOURSELF and THOSE AROUND YOUSense the deep internal space where INTUITION, and CREATIVITY FLOWSYour connection to WISDOM and a place where we understand our CONNECTION TO ALL THAT IS Everything in nature holds within it the POWER to bring new things to life. You have the POWER to bring everything you dream of to life!BELTANE is when we CELEBRATE and HONOUR that!
In ancient times BELTANE was honoured with gatherings, celebrations and feasting..over the Winter months it would have been difficult to gather in large groups so BELTANE marked the first possibility for community to get together and celebrate life. So join us to celebrate this joyful and auspicious point in the Wheel.
