About this Event
Belper Woods of Wellbeing is a day of wellbeing activities for all provided by local practitioners in the woodlands and meadows of Belper Parks nature reserve.
A range of sessions are offered to spark and support nature connection, mindfulness, movement, creativity and rejuvenation.
To invest in local practitioners and give back to the woods any event profits will be shared equally amongst workshop providers and the Belper Parks volunteer group.
We are also offering family friendly activities this year suitable for children and their grown-ups!
Provisional line-up:
Nature Based Mindfulness - a guided wander, including nature inspired breathwork, mindful movements and activities to engage the senses and connect with nature. Includes gentle walking and optional movements.
Nature Connection Charcoal Drawing - no artistic experience or skill required for this exploratory class! We will play with creative methods to connect with gifts from nature and trust your intuitive process.
Wild Writing - prompts will be provided to explore any feelings, life lessons and experiences that arise from your day of nature immersion through free writing. You will be invited to reflect on your day with words and drawings. Bring a notebook and a pen or pencil.
